DryLink ® couplings can be used in several industries including biotechnology, chemical, cosmetics, food & beverage and pharmaceutical and are ideal for hazardous, high viscosity, high-flow and hygienic applications. Couplings are available in up to seven sizes, three body materials, four seal materials and five end connections. Sanitary, powder and keyed couplings are also available.

DryLink ® is the market leader in dry disconnect couplings and is EXCLUSIVE to Action Sealtite outside the U.S. Its unique, patented design means flow is controlled by a single handle, which is attached to the coupler only. The handle operates both the coupler and the adapter valve making it quick to secure and easy to use. DryLink ® couplings have a flow shut off mechanism resembling a split butterfly valve allowing maximum flow while reducing the risk of connection malfunction. Their smooth bore has no

Standard DryLink® couplings consist of a coupler that can be attached to a hose and an adapter that can be fixed to a tank, manifold, pipe or other equipment. An automatic interlocking mechanism shuts off both the coupler and the adapter when the coupling is disconnected. Standard couplings are available in seven sizes (½” – 4”) with several end connections and seal materials (FKM (Viton ® ), EPDM, PTFE (Teflon ® ), FFKM (Chemraz ® , Kalrez ® ) Wetted parts vary, please contact us for more information.

Sanitary couplings are typically specified for pharmaceutical, biotech, semi conductor, cosmetic and food & beverage industries where ultra-cleanliness is required. Sanitary couplings are internally polished to a 20 RA micro-inch mirror finish. The smooth bore has no voids, dead spaces, crevices or fillers that may trap bacteria. These couplings can be easily sanitized using steam or other methods (CIP, SIP etc.). FDA and USP certification is available as an option. Other options include extra fine RA micro-inch inside polish, electro-polish and outside polish to a matte finish. Sanitary couplings are available in the same sizes as standard couplings. DryLink® Powder Couplings are sanitary High Containment split-butterfly Valves (HCV) that assure the safe and secure transfer of toxic powders in the pharmaceutical manufacturing processes of pills and capsules. The HCV’s patented seal ensures that the stringent Occupational Exposure Limit values (OELs) are met to ensure workers are not exposed to hazardous chemicals.

DryLink ® dry disconnect couplings (also called dry-break couplings) can be used wherever a hose is used to transfer fluids, especially where the fluids are hazardous, toxic, corrosive or flammable. This includes bulk fluid transfer applications such as tank trucks, railroad cars and portable tank containers.
